At present, Fudan University has 35 directly affiliated hospitals (departments) and 18 affiliated hospitals (two of which are under construction). The school has 80 undergraduate majors, 43 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 46 first-class discipline master degree authorization points (including first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points), 5 doctoral degree authorization points, 37 master degree authorization points and 37 post-doctoral research stations. There are 15,303 undergraduate students, 36,690 graduate students (including full-time and part-time students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and 2,535 international students with academic qualifications. There are 3621 teaching and research personnel in the school. There are 59 academicians of China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering (including double employment), 1 outstanding professor of liberal arts and 15 senior professors of liberal arts, and 767 people have obtained various national talent programs, accounting for nearly 21% of the teaching staff.
Fudan University has a world-class reputation for running a school, and its global reputation ranks among the top 50 in the world, and it is in the forefront of the mainland of China. In the fifth round of national first-level discipline evaluation, the construction effect has been significantly improved. The five disciplines of literature, society, science, engineering and medicine all have a high international reputation and rank among the top 100 in the world. A total of 20 disciplines were selected as the second round of "double first-class" construction disciplines, taking the lead in starting the construction of integrated circuit science and engineering, the first "interdisciplinary" discipline in China. Thirteen disciplines were selected for the construction of peak disciplines in Shanghai. The school is committed to continuously and steadily contributing to civilization and progress in the best state, actively implementing 17 UN sustainable development goals, ranking among the top universities in the world in terms of comprehensive influence of sustainable development, and achieving outstanding achievements in the fields of SDG7 (affordable clean energy) and SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth). In the "Double Ten Thousand Plan" for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors of the Ministry of Education, 61 majors were approved as national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites.
